[Baseball] Tiger Baseball Sweeps Morehouse

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Stillman College Baseball enacted the mercy rule twice on Monday, March 12 with a pair of five-inning, 11-1 wins to sweep Morehouse College at Tiger Park. The wins give the host Tigers (6-11) three straight and a total of four this season against Morehouse.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A cold stretch in the first half was too much to overcome early Thursday morning in the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament opening round, as 17th-ranked Stillman College fell to No. 15 Indiana University Southeast, 84-66, in Sanford Pentagon. The game was the first on the schedule to begin the second day of tournament play, tipping off at 8:30 a.m. CST.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Sami Story and Sky Santos each hit 4-for-4 and combined for eight RBIs to lead Stillman College to its first win of the season, 10-2, over Judson College on Monday, March 5 at Stillman Softball Complex. The win snapped an eight-game losing streak. The Lady Tigers fell short of a sweep though, as Taylor Hutto hit a three-run home run in the sixth inning to give Judson a 4-2 win in the night cap. 

[Men's Basketball] Tigers to Begin NAIA Tournament Play Thursday, March 8

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Stillman College men's basketball will play its earliest game of the season, if not in program history, when it takes the court at the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Championships, March 7-13, at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.

The 17th-ranked Tigers drew the No. 5 seed in the Cramer quadrant of the 32-team bracket, and will play the first game on the schedule for day two of the tournament, tipping off at 8:30 a.m. CT on Thursday, March 8 against Indiana University Southeast, which is ranked 15th in the latest Coaches' Poll, released Feb. 28.

[Men's Basketball] Stillman sweeps A.I.I. Men's Basketball Awards

LINCOLN, Ill. – One after one, a Stillman College men's basketball player had their name called Thursday night at the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Men's Basketball Awards Banquet on the campus of Lincoln Christian University, as the Tigers swept each of the major awards for the 2017-18 season.

Senior post player Rafael Adams (Foley, Ala.) was named the A.I.I. Men's Basketball Player of the Year, senior point guard Montego Hoskins (Birmingham, Ala.) tied for A.I.I. Defensive Player of the Year and junior guard DaQuan Forrest (Kosciusko, Miss.) was dubbed A.I.I. Newcomer of the Year. Head Coach John Teasley also took home top honors, being named the A.I.I. Coach of the Year after leading the Tigers to a Top 10 ranking, rising as high as No. 8, and a 25-4 regular season record in his first year as head coach.
